Six students receive CMA (Certified Management Accountant) scholarships
Awarded by IMA to Support Future Leaders in Management Accounting
Green Bay, Wis.—The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is pleased to announce that six students have been awarded CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) scholarships from IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants). The list of students honored with this award includes:

As part of its mission to advance the management accounting profession, IMA offers the CMA Scholarship Program to top full-time accounting, finance, and business administration students who are nominated by their professors. Recipients receive a comprehensive package of benefits enabling them to study for and take the CMA exam at no cost while they’re still in school.
Designed specifically for finance and accounting professionals working in business, the CMA certification program is a relevant assessment of advanced accounting and financial management knowledge in critical areas such as financial planning, analysis, control, and decision support. The CMA exam includes two parts: Financial Planning, Performance, and Analytics; and Strategic Financial Management.
“The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business is pleased to recognize these six outstanding students,” said Heather Kaminski, DBA, CMA assistant professor of accounting at UW-Green Bay. “The scholarships are a substantial benefit to our students, allowing them to prepare for and pass the CMA exam.”
“We congratulate this group of outstanding students for their accomplishments and dedication to the field of management accounting,” added Raef Lawson, Ph.D., CMA, CPA, IMA professor-in-residence and vice president of research and policy. “Students who prepare for the CMA while in school will stand out in the workforce and will contribute to the performance of organizations throughout their careers.”
