‘The Color of Nature’ virtual presentation to shed light on the many colors of birds

Hey, bird fans! Check out and attend this “The Color of Nature” virtual presentation by associate professor and Richter Museum of Natural History Curator Dan Meinhardt on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. It’s free and open to the first 100 people who register. Meinhardt, with the Bay Area Bird Club, will compare the function of human eyes to that of a bird, as well as the differentiation of coloring and perception on different types of birds, including iridescence! For information, visit the Bay Area Bird Club Facebook page. Register here!
