Community enjoys free US Army Band performance at Weidner Center

The Jazz Ambassadors — the official touring big band of the United States Army played to a full Fort Howard Hall at the Weidner Center last week. Taking time to meet part of the ensemble before the performance was Chancellor Gary L. Miller and Georgia Miller. The 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received great acclaim both at home and abroad performing America’s original art form, jazz.
