UW-Green Bay hot spots still available to students at all four campus locations
UW-Green Bay Libraries reminds students on all four campuses that hot spots are available for reliable internet access. Please consider forwarding to students who might be struggling to locate reliable internet.
On-campus options
- Libraries on all four campuses will be open to provide access to computers, internet, and other resources. (See the UWGB Libraries website for detailed hours for each location.)
- The General Access Computer Lab (GAC Lab) on the Green Bay, as well as computer labs on the additional campuses, will also be available. (See the Division of IT website for detailed hours.)
- Wireless access throughout all academic buildings and residence halls will be available on all four campuses.
Personal Hot Spots
UW-Green Bay will also be providing a limited number of US Cellular hot spots (MIFI units). These units will be made available to those students for whom on-campus access is not an option. Units will be allocated to students based on an application process.
All units will be checked out through the Cofrin Library on the Green Bay campus, but students from all four campus locations are eligible to apply, and arrangements will be made for those that cannot pick up in person. Please note: students living on campus will not be eligible for a hot spot, as internet access in the residence halls is already provided.
