What sparks future students to pick UW-Green Bay? When asked why they chose UW-Green Bay for their college education, students shared an instant campus connection and being surrounded by a beautiful woodland environment. Saving on tuition, tunnels during the winter months, private residence hall bathrooms and the LGBTQ-friendly environment ranked high on their ‘must-have’ lists. Most importantly, they appreciate the strong sense of community and caring professors who help all students rise to their full potential.

Transcript: It, it just felt right. UW-Green Bay was the first college I toured actually. It had like a small sense of community. It felt like it was like my place. I fell in love with the campus, all the trees and how it felt like you were just part of the forest. I also just like the tunnels that’s so nice in winter. UW-Green Bay is super LGBTQ friendly which was really important to me. If I had gone to Iowa, I would have had so much debt. A year at Iowa costs as much as my entire tuition here. I was going to get the attention from the professors, I was not going to be a number. Can’t beat the three T’s of the trees, the toilets, and the tunnels. It just felt like the perfect place.
