Knee deep in research: UW-Green Bay’s stream ecology class spends time in Wequiock Creek
Yesterday (Sept. 19) made a beautiful day for a walk in the… stream? Prof. Patrisck Forsythe (Natural and Applied Sciences) and his stream ecology class grabbed their waders and trekked the length of Wequiock Creek (not far from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus). “The primary goal was to walk the entire long profile of Wequiock Creek to find and geo-reference natural and man-made barriers to fish migration and points of stream degradation,” explained Forsythe. “We just wanted to have a little fun, too.”
