Faculty note: Herdman and Gallagher-Lepak release new edition

NANDA-International has released a new edition of their seminal text, Nursing Diagnoses: Definitions and Classification 2018-2020 (11th Edition), a guide to nursing diagnoses. UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. T. Heather Herdman is the lead author. Herdman and Dean Susan Gallagher-Lepak authored introductory chapters in the book. In this new edition, introductory chapters provide critical information needed for nurses to understand assessment, its link to diagnosis and clinical reasoning, and the purpose and use of taxonomic structure for nurses in all care settings.
