Former Phoenix women’s basketball players GLO-ing after championship
Wisconsin GLO, composed of many former Green Bay women’s basketball team members, finished 14-0 and secured the Global Women’s Basketball Association championship, Sunday, August 12, 2019. The team defeated the Flint Monarchs, a three-time defending league champion, 80-78, at the Menomonie Nation Arena. Former Phoenix Jessica Lindstrom (Elementary Education) ’18, was named the playoffs’ most valuable player. See more.
