Weidner ticket sales are strong (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Helped by a return appearance of Jerry Seinfeld, to be sure, Weidner Center personnel are thrilled to report strong single ticket sales from last week. The Weidner saw a 34% increase in tickets and a 71% increase in revenue from the previous season. A number of factors may have been in play, including:

– Strong titles, including Seifeld, Jersy Boys and Simon & Garfunkel
– A shortened subscription window (Eager buyers didn’t have to wait as long for individual shows to go on sale.)
– Change in marketing strategy
