Place your garden order
The campus gardens are in their prime. Here’s your chance to order. Some items are first-come, first-serve on Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Others need to be ordered through delstt15@uwgb.edu and picked up during that same time frame:
First come, first serve:
- Bush Beans (dragon tongue) $2.00/lbs
- Garlic bulbs (music and elephant varieties) $2.00/bulb
- Beets (merlin, chioggia) $1.00/bunch
- Carrots (nelson, purple haze) $1.00/bunch
- Summer squash (flying saucer) $1.00 each
- Cucumbers (marketmore) 2 for $1
Order in advance:
Greens (1/2 pound bag) – $2.00 (limit 1 bag per order)
- mild salad mix (baby kale, Asian greens)
- spicy salad mix (baby kale, Asian greens, arugula, nasturtiums)
Greens bunches – $1.00
- Swiss Chard (bright lights)
- Collard Greens
- Amaranth Greens (tastes like a nutty spinach with the fiber of kale)
- Purslane (highest omega 3 content of any plant)
Herbs – $1.00
- Basil
- Dill
- Sage bundles
- Oregano
- Chives
- Lemon balm
