Two upcoming programs by the Humanities Council
Two events funded in part from the Wisconsin Humanities Council (with funds from the national Endowment for the Humanities) comes to UWGB next week. They are both free and open to the public:
- Wednesday, April 20 – “Power/Fuerza: The Rubble Kings of South Bronx”
Filmmaker Shan Nicholson will be on campus to screen his documentary “Rubble Kings.” It will be at 6 p.m. in Rose Hall 250. Here’s the trailer (produced by Jim Carrey with John Leguizamo on narration)

Experimental-pop artist Roxiny will give a short concert at the Phoenix Club at 7:30 p.m. See a video of her song ‘Phoenix’ here:
