Phoenix women finish storybook season No. 9 in the nation

UW-Green Bay finishes the 2010-11 season ranked No. 9 in the final ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. While we’ve always been skeptical of post-tournament polls (what’s the point?), this one confirms that in the eyes of the voting coaches, the Phoenix is regarded as the best team in all of NCAA Division I women’s basketball among the programs that didn’t reach the tourney’s Elite Eight.
