Video and Photos: Esports Lounge, Opens Feb. 9, 2022

Gamers of all levels, come to the new Esports Lounge inside the Phoenix Club to play video games on brand new high-tech computers while enjoying comfortable gaming chairs. The Grand Opening is on February 9th from 12-3 PM. This is a chance for the UW-Green Bay community to check out the space and play video games. Food and beverages will be available.

Transcription for Esports Lounge: Game Begin. The UWGB Esports Lounge is a place where people can come and play video games whether they want to do it competitively or casually. The nice part about our Esports Lounge here is that there are no prerequisites to come and play. So, we have a whole bunch of Alienware stuff which is kind of the higher top end of gaming computers. We have League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League, Dota 2, and Valorant. Those are the games we have right now but we are open to adding more and we will add more once the student body adds its input. Esports Lounge is just a huge opportunity for people to be able to come in and try games and play games and there’s just so much that we’re looking forward to doing like starting competitive teams and getting involved in actual tournaments. So, really, I mean this is a gamer’s dream setup. The Esports Lounge in the Phoenix Club is a perfect place to come and have a great time with your friends, blow off some steam, and just have a good time.
