SBDC sponsors Startup Weekend

Next weekend, Feb. 12-14 is “Start-up Weekend” in the community. The SBDC is one of the sponsors and UWGB alumni are business peer reviewers. All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Attendees vote on their favorite ideas and form teams around them. Then it’s a 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekend culminates with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback. More here: swgreenbay.com.
