UW-Green Bay Professors John Luczaj and Kevin Fermanich appear in new documentary “Power of the River”

Professors John Luczaj and Kevin Fermanich appeared in the premier of “Power of the River” at the De Pere Cinema on Tuesday, August 23rd. The documentary (made by Dan Larson) is a collection of stories that spans 12,000 years to the present and includes the history of glaciers, First Nations People, European Settlement, and the development of industry along the Lower Fox River. Interviewees also appeared during a Q&A session after the film. It was presented to a sold out audience at the De Pere Cinema. The film was also shown on Thursday, August 25th at Perry Hall on the Fox Valley Campus of UW-Oshkosh.
