UW-Green Bay-Marinette Campus joins forces with Fincantieri Marinette Marine in the ship-building industry | Bay Cities Radio
A monumental announcement was made yesterday at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay – Marinette Campus Library. Where UW System President Tommy Thompson introduced funding for a new program that aligns with Fincantieri Marinette Marine’s ship-building industry and serves the needs of the Marinette—Menominee community.
Thompson says, “this is really a partnership of UW Green Bay, the UW System, with the technical colleges, and of course with Marinette Marine, to teach and help solve the problem of getting engineers and technical people out working in the industry.”
