Phoenix, Borseth agree on contract extension

Green Bay women’s basketball season ticket holders and fans were thrilled to hear about the contract extension for Head Coach Kevin Borseth through 2024-25, as announced by Athletic Director Charles Guthrie. The Phoenix improved to 14-2 in league play entering its final two regular-season games at home this weekend, and has clinched at least a share of the conference championship for a 20th straight season. It leads IUPUI by two games with two remaining. Borseth has gone 374-94 in 15 seasons at UWGB and led the Phoenix to the NCAA tournament 11 times while being named the Horizon League’s coach of the year eight times. Borseth is 686-264 in 31 seasons at Michigan Tech, UWGB and Michigan. The story was covered heavily by local media:
