Finalists Named For UW-Green Bay Chancellor Position | News | WTAQ
The search for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s next chancellor is down to four people. They are: Michael Alexander, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, UW-Green Bay Mark L. Biermann, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana Teresa M. Flannery, Policy Fellow, Center for University Excellence, American University, Washington, D.C. Lori Vermeulen, Former Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Stockton University, Galloway, New Jersey The four candidates are set to participate in separate public forums in late February and early March.
Those forums are designed to allow students, faculty, staff members and community members to interact with them directly. Formal interviews are scheduled for March 26. The interview committee is made up of UW System President Ray Cross and Regents Robert Atwell, Scott Beightol, Becky Levzow, and Karen Walsh. The next chancellor will succeed Gary Miller, who left to become president of the University of Akron in Ohio last year.
