Aldrete named Professor of the Year
Big news and huge congratulations for UW-Green Bay Prof. Greg Aldrete, who today (Thursday, Nov. 15) was named Wisconsin Professor of the Year! Aldrete, UW-Green Bay’s Frankenthal Professor of History and Humanistic Studies, was selected for the accolade bestowed by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Since beginning his UW-Green Bay career in 1995, Aldrete has been known for excelling in both teaching and research, bringing an infectious enthusiasm for all things ancient Rome to the classroom and beyond. He embraces and exemplifies UW-Green Bay’s interdisciplinary approach to education, as articulated in the University’s new brand, 360° of Learning. We’ve got more on Aldrete in our full news release, and will feature him on the web and in the upcoming edition of Inside magazine. Congratulations, Prof. Aldrete!
