UWGB’s Prof. Shelton to present “Shoptalk” lecture

UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Jon Shelton will deliver a public lecture at the Ashwaubenon Branch of the Brown County Public Library as part of the Wisconsin Humanities Council’s “Shoptalk” series. The lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3. Entitled “Everyone an Entrepreneur: The New Economy,” the talk will look at the history of jobs and work in the U.S. and how the so-called “sharing economy” is unraveling the traditional link between jobs and security.
