Neck and neck: Helpap offers take on latest guv’s race poll
With the November election just weeks away, Associate Prof. David Helpap weighed in on the latest Marquette Law School poll for a Wednesday (Oct. 15) story on NBC 26. “Being tied among the likely voters definitely is a big deal,” Helpap said in an interview with reporter Raquel Lamal, reacting to the news that Walker and Burke are neck and neck with 47 percent support apiece. Jobs continue to be the central issue, Helpap said, and more back-and-forth on that topic is likely in the final weeks before Nov. 4. “Walker’s promise to create 250,000 jobs — that’s come up time and time again,” Helpap said. “And if you are a challenger, this is exactly what you want to do.” Full story.
