Faculty note: Lacey praised by AND president

Karen Lacey, senior lecturer emerita and former director of Dietetic Programs in Human Biology, was recognized by Dr. Ethan Bergman, current president of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, in his President’s Page column in the August issue of the Academy’s journal. Bergman compared innovation and excellence in the field to high-performing Olympic athletes, and mentioned Lacey for having created innovative ways to approach dietetic practice through her leadership in developing the new Nutrition Care Process.
