Adjunct faculty member heading to U.K.
Linda Steiner, an applied social psychologist who has taught psychology and Human Development courses at UW-Green Bay, is heading to the United Kingdom this week to participate in an Oxford Round Table symposium. The symposium is titled “Women and Social Justice.” Steiner, from Egg Harbor, will be presenting her research, “The Mass-Marketing of Female Inequality: Perpetuating Subservience One Consumer at a Time.” The original article in the Door County Advocate had a few problems with titles and technical terms and such (see the correction note at the end) but it’s still an interesting read.
