Prof. Cristina Ortiz presents at conference in Barcelona, Spain and is guest editor of new publication

Prof. Cristina Ortiz, Humanities, chaired a panel and presented her latest research on contemporary Basque literature at the IV International Colloquium on Political Violence in the 20th Century, hosted by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain on June 15-18.

In addition, Prof. Ortiz along with Dr. Pilar Rodriguez (University of Deusto, Spain) are the guest-editors of a special issue of the US scholarly journal Symposium. The issue, published in June 2022, is devoted to New Worlds of Fiction and Contemporary Basque Women Writers and includes contributions from prominent Basque scholars. The journal Symposium published by Taylor and Francis is ranked in SJR (Scimago Journal and Country Ranks), WoS (Web of Science) and SCOPUS.
