UNI’s Mattison is new dean of College of Professional Studies

Sue Joseph Mattison, an academic administrator and scholar with extensive experience in the areas of health and education, has been appointed dean of the College of Professional Studies. Provost Julia Wallace announced today the selection of Mattison, who will begin her new duties July 15. “I am delighted that Dr. Mattison has accepted our offer,” Wallace said. “Her collaborative leadership style and grasp of the many issues affecting higher education today will serve the College of Professional Studies well as it moves forward.” Mattison is director of the School of Health, Physical Education and Leisure Services at the University of Northern Iowa.
