UW-Green Bay Prof. Heidi Sherman published in ‘All About History’

Heidi Sherman has published “Warrior Queen of Kyiv,” All About History 115 (March 24, 2022), pp. 52-57  In this weekly British popular history magazine, Sherman  wrote about Olga on the heels of the war in Ukraine.  She was a tenth-century queen of Kievan Rus, which was a time when there was no separation between Russians, Belorussians and Ukrainians.  She ruled them all.  Russians and Ukrainians each claim Olga as theirs, but she was Scandinavian. The article is about her contributions in solidifying this multi-ethnic state.
