Assistant Prof. Chu and student Alexandra Oosting publish article on reducing racial bias in team sports

Undergraduate research assistant Alexandra (Sasha) Oosting (Pscyhology) recently worked with Assistant Prof. Alan Chu, (Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology) to publish an article in “Strategies: A Journal for Physical and Sport Educators.” Their work discusses strategies for coaches to reduce the subliminal bias they may have towards their players through increased contact with players, increased awareness and increased diversity and inclusion on their sports teams.
