Beginning Oct. 31, Return of the ‘Laffle’


The good people in the Registrar’s Office are soon to launch “Laffle 4,” the latest in their fun series of charity drives in which UW-Green Bay pitches in to support a particular cause or segment of the community. This fall’s drive begins Monday (Oct. 31) and ends exactly three weeks later. For the second consecutive fall, donation will go to the “pair and a spare” campaign to get supplies to local schoolchildren. The concept is that, when purchasing clothes or school and hygiene items, you will remember that social workers in the Green Bay public schools report many disadvantaged children are doing without.
