World premiere Thursday: 'Dreaming of Forests'
Just in time for Earth Week, the UW-Green Bay Theatre program presents the comedy Dreaming of Forests. The original script by playwright Doug Bedwell is about choices, the environment, politics, mythology and art. The story revolves around two artist friends who end up working on opposite sides of an environmental issue. “This play is a perfect match for UW-Green Bay with its interdisciplinary themes and environmental focus,” says Arts and Visual Design Prof. Laura Riddle, who directs. It also ties in with this year’s Common Theme focus on sustainability. The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (April 21) with additional performances April 22 and 27-30 in the University Theatre in Theatre Hall. More details.
