Reminder: ‘I Never Saw Another Butterfly’ performance, May 3

It follows a huge weekend for the arts at UW-Green Bay, but don’t miss the season finale for UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance — a one-night performance of Celeste Respanti’s “I Never Saw Another Butterfly.” The performance is at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 in the Weidner Center. The book and play is based on the artwork and poetry created by the children of the Terezín concentration camp and is told through the eyes and memories of Raja Englanderova, one of the children who survived Terezín. The play celebrates the children’s ability to live and dream of a human life through their imaginations despite their oppression. The press release has more.
