Rep. Kristina Shelton visits Prof. Aaron Weinschenk class

Professor Aaron Weinschenk’s congressional politics class recently had the chance to hear a guest lecture from State Rep. Kristina Shelton. Representative Shelton shared insights on her path to elected office and then the students were able to ask her questions about serving in the legislature. The class discussion covered topics like education policy, gun violence, Medicaid, political polarization, and the Wisconsin state budget, among many others.
