Prof. Style shares post-retirement plans
The Log announced shortly before the holiday break that Prof. Christine Style (Arts and Visual design) will be retiring. Style shared some of her post-retirement plans. “My plans are to get more time in my studio as one never retires from making art. I will transition to doing some future teaching at the art school in Florence, Italy (SRISA). I’ve been working with the Curator of Art Committee and Lawton Gallery Curator Emma Hitzman with their selection of some of 1,000+ prints by UW-Green Bay students who have made prints in my printmaking courses over the last 30+ years. I’ve also made other print and art donations from my collection. The remaining student prints will then be available for others — TBA.”
