UW-Green Bay warmly welcomed by Door County friends
About 40 UW-Green Bay alumni and friends, including former employees and retirees, were treated to an evening reception at the Door County home of former UW-Green Bay Interim Chancellor David Ward and his wife Judy. The event was Thursday, September 15. The Wards, as well as retired faculty member Bill Laatsch and his wife, Fran Hunter, and Alison Van Duyse ’89 hosted the event. Regional receptions give personnel from UW-Green Bay a chance to catch up with alumni and friends in their home regions. Guests were treated to a reception on the Wards’ deck facing the Sturgeon Bay Canal, and enjoyed the chance to be charmed by one of David Ward’s many hobbies — electric trains.
