Save the date: Turbocharge at Brown County Library

UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary L. Miller, NWTC President Jeff Rafn and Green Bay Area Public Schools Superintendent Michelle Langenfeld will participate in a panel discussion at the Brown County Central Library on Tuesday, September 26, at 7 p.m., about the new partnership between the three institutions, “Turbocharge with College Credit.” The vision of the partnership is to create a college-going culture and to enable Green Bay high school students to make a successful transition to post-secondary education by having them earn a minimum of 15 college credits towards a certificate, credential or degree by the time they graduate from high school. The program will reduce financial barriers by jump-starting the number of credits students will already have when they enter a post-secondary institution, and also by supporting all students and their families in filling out the application for federal financial aid. The September 26 panel discussion is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay.
