Jazz ensembles to join forces for concert May 8

Jazz fans can look forward to a triple dose of their favorite standards and more Wednesday, May 8, when UW-Green Bay’s Jazz I, Jazz II and Vocal Jazz ensembles take the stage for a combined concert. This 33rd UW-Green Bay Music concert of the season will feature compositions and arrangements from such noted musicians as Lennie Niehaus, Chuck Mangione and Jerome Richardson — as well as UW-Green Bay student Sam Stranz, whose arrangement of “Darn that Dream” will be performed by the Jazz I Ensemble toward the end of the show.
