In the news: Kraft nailed ‘fiscal cliff’ forecast

When the local news media consulted their “fiscal cliff” experts in late December, some, including UW-Green Bay Prof. Emeritus Michael Kraft, said a deal was probably much closer than either side had led us to believe. Waiting until the last minute is political jockeying, Kraft told Fox 11’s Bill Miston in a Thursday, Dec. 27 interview. “This may go on for a few days,” Kraft said. “Yet meanwhile — behind the scenes — we don’t know what’s going on.
