Presented by UW-Green Bay Music, Opera & Musical Theatre Workshop presents Mamma Mia!/Figaro! Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Weidner Center’s Fort Howard Hall. This event is free. UW-Green Bay’s finest singing actors perform your favorite operatic arias and musical theatre standards in our annual Opera & Musical Theatre Workshop. With music direction by Courtney Sherman and stage direction by Laura Riddle, the program includes arias from La Serva Padrona, L’incoronazione di Poppea, Le nozze di Figaro and Vanessa; and scenes from the musicals Mame, Gypsy, Next to Normal and Heathers: The Musical. Also featured is UW-Green Bay’s Chamber Singers, performing works directed by UW-Green Bay Music senior Lorelei Zimmerman. Learn more.
