UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander to speak to opportunity and how UW-Green Bay will ignite the future for its students and the region as new academic year begins
GREEN BAY, Wis. – “Built to Rise” is the theme for the 2025 Convocation on Wednesday, August 27 at 10 a.m. at The Weidner on the UW-Green Bay campus. At the event, Chancellor Michael Alexander, along with Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Kate Burns will address faculty and staff from all UW-Green Bay campuses. Amid a rapidly changing and sometimes chaotic educational landscape, they will highlight the positive momentum and bold steps the University is taking to serve students and the region.
Additionally, the event will honor recipients of the University’s Founders Awards, given to faculty and staff for their contributions within the previous year. A livestream of the 2025 Convocation will also be available.
