Fight for Your Food Film Festival
The student-sponsored “Fight for Your Food Film Festival” will be held throughout the month of April at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Starting Wednesday, April 7, the student-sponsored film series “Fight for Your Food Film Festival” will be held in Rose Hall, Room 250 on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus at 7 p.m. The film series is free of charge, and is open to the general public.
Running every Wednesday throughout the month of April, the event will feature a different movie each week, all of which will deal with a different topic concerning the state of our current food system. The films will discuss topics such as local foods, organic farming and food production. The event will also feature guest speakers and discussions regarding the topics.
“Fight for Your Food Film Festival” is a free event thanks to the sponsors SLO Food Alliance, UW-Green Bay Dietetics Club and UW-Green Bay Student Government Association.
