Basketball fans can see some of the area’s top high school players this week, as the Shawano Sundrop Shootout will again be hosted by the Kress Events Center, Thursday and Friday, Dec. 26-27. The event will host a combination 13 varsity boys and girls basketball games on Carol’s Court in the Kress Center over the two days. Additionally, on Friday, there will be a junior varsity event in the East and West Gyms that will host nine boys and girls games. Cost to attend is $7 per day with children ages 6-and-under free.
