SBDC at UW-Green Bay among sponsors for NEW Business Plan Contest

The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay is among the sponsors for the 2014 Northeast Wisconsin Business Plan Contest, hosted by the Northeast Wisconsin Regional Economic Partnership (NEWREP). Interested parties are invited to apply now through Dec. 31, submitting their ideas for a new business or to help grow an existing Northeastern Wisconsin business in 250 words or fewer. Those who pass the contest application round will be invited to participate in the full business plan judging round (full plans due Jan. 11), and the top three entrants will compete for the $5,000 first prize in an elevator pitch competition at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30. Second-and third-prize winners will receive at least $1,000 cash. For more details, including registration info, check out our news release.
