maintaining their budget and financial records, managing their accounts, and providing timely reports for grant-writing and decision-making purposes. Pat, however, goes above and beyond her duties as treasurer. She is always willing to meet with New Leaf’s potential granters to ensure their finances are in order and to demonstrate that New Leaf is fiscally responsible and trustworthy. She has given public presentations to promote their projects and has spent weekends working their farmers’ market booth recruiting volunteers.”
