When weight holds too much weight
Join Nutrition and Integrated Health for a dynamic one-hour session on Friday, September 23, 10-11:15 a.m., “When Weight Holds Too Much Weight: Exploring the True Influencers of Health.” Clinicians will takeaway specific tools they can utilize with their patients when addressing unwanted weight gain and body image concerns.
We will explore ways to promote and foster intuitive eating, interoceptive awareness, value-based eating and body appreciation within patients. You will be challenged to reconsider the lens through which you evaluate and approach weight, to reexamine your role as a clinician and to envision new and more effective ways to collaborate with your patients.
This session is part of a Holistic Well-being Speaker Series in conjunction with the launch of a new graduate certificate in Nutrition and Integrative Health Fall 2023. The session is free. We just ask that you register. (Corrected link.) Eligible for 1 CEU, pending approval from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
