Ari Berman leads-off Historical Perspectives Lecture Series
Don’t miss this opportunity to see journalist Ari Berman — contributing writer of The Nation magazine and investigative journalism fellow at the Nation Institute. Berman will speak on his latest book, “Give Us the Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights in America.” His presentation will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept 29 in Rose Hall 250. The public is invited to attend. Berman is the first in a series a speakers invited to UW-Green Bay as part of the Historical Perspective Lecture Series. The series has been bringing speakers of national renown to UWGB since 1985. Also coming this fall, Richard Brookhiser, senior editor of National Review, discussing his book, “Founding Father: Rediscovering George Washington,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 27 in Rose Hall 250.
