Eichler lands D-1 assistant job with Hartford

The University of Hartford women’s basketball program has announced the addition of Sarah Eichler, a former UW-Green Bay standout, as an assistant coach. Eichler graduated with a degree in Education in May 2013 and played professional basketball in Denmark for the Stevnsgade Club-Copenhagen. In her one season, 2013-14, she averaged 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds-per-game. At Hartford, Eichler joins head coach Jennifer Rizzotti, one of women’s college basketball’s biggest names as a successful coach at Hartford for 13 years and a former AP national player of the year at Connecticut in 1996.
