Art Mural Dedication moved to Convocation, Noon
It was meant to be a spirited afternoon event, with the dedication of the beautiful new 50th Anniversary Mural, completed last spring by alumnus Beau Thomas, followed by an ice cream social. With an 80 percent chance of rain showers, organizers are moving tomorrow’s (August 24) mural dedication (with comments by Beau and others) to the end of Convocation (about noon) in the Phoenix Rooms, University Union. Ice cream is still scheduled for 1 p.m. in the Union. Because of the Cloud Commons remodel there is no lunch provided this year as part of Convocation.

Just a reminder that Fall 2016 Convocation begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Please RSVP so that organizers can plan for the 1 p.m. ice cream social (now moved to the Union).
