Cyber Campers are here
The first week of August brings 100 campers to campus for the first ever cybersecurity camp in the state of Wisconsin — GenCyber — providing cybersecurity experiences for students in grades 7-9. The goals of the program are to help all students understand correct and safe online behavior, increase diversity and interest in cybersecurity and careers in the cybersecurity workforce. GenCyber camps are open to all student participants at no cost. Funding is provided jointly by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation. The camp runs from July 31 – August 4.
