Beginning July 1, 2021 the Office of Student Life will be the Student Engagement Center. This name change emulates and demonstrates student-centered programs and services, with students being first in all they do. Student Engagement more accurately describes their goal for students through their programs, offerings, and services. With a new name comes a clarification of the Center’s new mission, vision, and values, as well as an updated website.
The Student Engagement Center services and offerings include:
- New Student Programs
- Family Engagement
- Social Programming and Events
- Cultural Programming and Events
- Student Organizations
- Fraternity & Sorority Life
- Community and Civic Engagement through Volunteerism & Service
- Leadership Development
- Commuter Student Services
- Commencement
Please take time now to update departmental websites/publications where Student Life is currently utilized, and begin using Student Engagement instead of Student Life after July 1 as you work with students and other stakeholders.
