Big Day(s): Student birder to raise conservation bucks counting birds

So this is pretty cool: Cofrin Center for Biodiversity grad student Tom Prestby will be doing a two-day “Big Day,” finding as many bird species as he can in 48 hours in Wisconsin. He’ll be raising money for Wisconsin bird conservation projects, and donors are invited to pledge by the bird. Prestby’s adventure begins tomorrow (Saturday, May 25), and he’ll be providing live Facebook updates throughout his trip. More details here and here.
