Adham Elkasses is the first from UW-Green Bay to receive CFA designation as a student

The Cofrin School of Business would like to recognize Adham Elkasses as the first UW-Green Bay student to pass the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation (CFA,) Level 1 Exam. According to the CFA Institute, the CFA exam has a 40-50% pass rate. The CFA Designation is one of the most difficult of professional designations to achieve and consists of three exams each lasting three hours. The designation is awarded by the CFA Institute.

In addition to passing the first of the exams, Adham was a member of the UW-Green Bay CFA Research that completed against 12 other universities throughout the state. On a post on LinkedIn, Elkasses posted:

“Thrilled to share that I recently participated in the CFA Institute Research Challenge representing University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where our Equity Research Report placed 2nd, the highest placement my university has ever achieved in this competition! Participating in this challenge tested our skills in equity analysis, valuation, and teamwork, all while meeting tight deadlines. I’m incredibly proud of our team’s hard work and grateful for the invaluable support from UWGB Austin E. Cofrin School of Business, our mentors and peers. I look forward to applying these insights as I continue to grow in my career.”

Congratulations!
